SparklingSpats Productions Proudly Presents:

Look! Up in the sky! The Original Dirigible takes flight over Portland this July 7th at the Refuge. Jetsetting DJs from Portland and abroad drop the shuffle-and-bass alongside live... swing musicians in a party laboratory of steampunk splendor and chrononaut chaos! That's right, we're putting the swing in rave!

GhettoSwing comes to Portland! This bass-heavy danceclub cousin of Europe's reigning ElectroSwing craze is packing clubs from Zurich to Sicily. Like the gold-grilled, hard-stomping cousin of Caravan Palace, Defunk is flying in from Calgary to mark the Rose City's initiation into GhettoSwing alongside our own International selector sensation GlobalRuckus.

On the early shift, seven-piece swing band The Wanderlust Circus Orchestra blends their vintage sound with live dubs by Mellonhead, an experiment in rhythm that spans a century.

There will be interactive artistic alchemy - control the lights and visuals in our very own dancecage dirigible. This is more than a standard soiree, it's a night of glittery, glamorous grandiosity - a fully immersive futuristic steamtopia awaits.

Don't miss the blimp! Get your tickets today at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/251804 and climb aboard for the flight of your life!
