Shoehorn's Hat Tree featuring Artis. Shoehorn and Artis will be back at the Blue Monk for this special gig featuring the extraordinary spoon percussionist Artis, with keys by Gordon Lee. Shoehorn's Hat Tree is basically the Hatband, normally a quartet, minus one. In this case we have a fourth player as our special guest, Shoehorn's longtime musical foil, Artis. They will have some copies of their live CD for sale, recorded 11/11/06 with Pere Soto on guitar and Dan Gaynor on keys, all four players augmenting their instruments with electronics.
