From the recording Isezaki-cho Blues

When I lived in Yokohama, Japan, i used to play on Isezaki-cho on my free nights. Isezaki-cho was once the center of a bustling postwar jazz scene, and Toshiko Akiyoshi, among other notables, performed in the area. There was a shirtless, drunken transient dude who used to mumble the chorus of this to me as an incoherent request (my favorite kind!) and I finally determined what song it was.
Grover Washington,Jr. also recorded this for a Japanese label in the early nineties.
